Moga, Jun 27 (UNI) BKU Ekta ugharan General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokri commented upon the statement of Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on the resumption of
talks with the farmers which said the Government was ready to discuss with farmers any amendment
in the three farm laws.
He ruled out of resumption of any talks with the government until and unless three
farm laws against which the farmers were protesting since last seven months, repealed.
Mr Kokri said farmers agenda is set , that is to repeal the farm laws, guarantee MSP of all crops and withdrawal of purpose electricity bill by the Centre.
He warned the Centre that farmers would continue their protest against anti-people laws
forcefully being thrust on the farmers. Protesting people are being booked and sent to jails to stifle the voice of dissent. He said farmers would continue their struggle and agitation will be intensified further if government failed to withdraw these anti-farmers law.
He also warned that if government failed to repeal the laws the farmers would again organise protest at some other places on the lines of one held at Chandigarh Saturday.
He said farmers are firm in their resolve and will continue to fight until the laws are scrapped.
