Euro 2020: Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell continue to train separately from the England squad

Euro 2020: Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell continue to train separately from the England squad – Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell reconvened their training after having been in isolation as they came in close contact with Billy Gilmour who later tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Chelsea duo was seen within close contact with the Scottish midfielder and they were isolated immediately to avoid any further contact with any other players.

Although they have returned negative covid-19 tests their isolation period is scheduled to end on Monday night and after that, they will be eligible for selection.

Mount has proved to be a key player for Gareth Southgate and the England manager could unleash the midfielder despite him being out of the main squad for a brief period.
