Digi Thane bags national award

Thane, Jun 26 (UNI) Digi Thane, the app extensively used by lakhs of citizens of the lake city, has won the prize in Governance category of Smart City Awards, announced the Centre on Friday.
Besides Thane, Vadodra and Bhubaneshwar also got the award as the top 3 cities in the country.
While Vadodra got the first prize,Thane came second. followed by Bubaneshwar.
The Kalyan-Dombivili bagged the Covid Innovation Award, which it shared with Varanasi, an official release by the TMC on Saturday stated.
