COVID 19 Pandemic: Indian Red Cross Society Awarded Dr. Kharbanda

Chandigarh, June 28: Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch Chandigarh awarded Certificate of Appreciation to Dr. HK Kharbanda, former Assistant Professor and Senior Homeopathy Physician, Chandigarh, for his selfless service during the COVID 19 pandemic.
Dr. Kharbanda has been running awareness campaigns related to Corona to aware the general public. He has been running various campaigns through social media Facebook and YouTube channels and regularly provided accurate information to millions of people about prevention and treatment of Corona and post Covid complications. By organizing live sessions with Dr. Ravi Shrikant Godse, a world-renowned doctor of internal medicine in America, he cleared many misconceptions related to the epidemic among the general public and also provided much useful information.
As soon as the second wave started, under the banner of the umbrella body of Chandigarh’s 94 resident welfare association  CRAWFED, he helped thousands of people through the Corona helpline, whether it was hospital beds, oxygen, food, ventilators, vaccination/psychology counseling.
Dr. Kharbanda said that fake news emerged as a big problem in this pandemic and the fear of Corona also had a negative effect on the mentality of the people, although the doctors did not keep any shortfall in giving correct, accurate information on their behalf, even in the live sessions, the flurry of questions about the vaccine, corona, post covid care did not reduce.
 “The common man should only rely on verified news, avoiding WhatsApp University, and should not believe in rumors and should avoid exposure to the coronavirus by taking strict precautions as per the information circulated by the government and doctors,” said Kharbanda.
