Welp, I thought it only existed online in articles and as a gaff on forums, but I saw someone doing air squats on a friggin bosu ball today.
Anyway, today was leg day.
Standing calf raises, slow eccentric, long pause at the top and bottom of each rep, 45x12
I find doing this before my leg work helps me get deeper in squats and leg presses.
Seated leg curls r/p 100x14/10/8
Also found doing these before quad compounds helps my knee feel more “stable”, I’m not sure how true that is, but I’m gonna keep doing it anyway.
Hack squats r/p 3 plates 4/5/3
Took too big of jumps in my warm up, and it hurt my work set. Oh well. I’ll get more reps next week.
Loaded back extensions 45x12
Leg extensions 120x22
These last 2 exercises are done for one set to form failure only, as a way to cap off my workout.
