Lucknow, Jun 26 (UNI) Congress General Secretary and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is expected to come to Lucknow in July next month after almost year-and-half.

She is expected to camp in Lucknow from where she will visit different parts of the state to meet the families of those who died from Corona.

Apart from this, during the Lucknow tour, Priyanka will hold brainstorming session with the local party workers and leaders in view of the 2022 assembly elections.

She also plans to have a direct interaction with the media. At the same time, Congress will set up photo galleries at various places in the state on the Corona tragedy.

Prior to this, Ms Vadra had come to Lucknow in December 2019.UP Congress sources said here on Saturday that the program of Priyanka's arrival has been verbally informed to the party officials.

However, the exact dates of the tour have not been given.

Meanwhile, the party high command has asked each block to collect the actual figures of deaths due to corona in the state before Priyanka's tour. For this, local teams have been engaged. These teams were visiting the towns, localities, villages and habitations.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra recently sent 4.5 lakh kits of medicines and 6 lakh liters of sanitizer to UP for the treatment of corona.

At the same time, sources say that the party will set up photo galleries at many places to narrate the Corona tragedy.
