According to the
sources, the safety reflector on these models is attached at the fork and
varies from the needed photometric provision. Due to this error, proper light
is not reflected causing lesser visibility, especially during the dark. These
affected models by Honda were manufactured from November 2019 to January 2021.
As a
precautionary measure, these affected models will be attended by authorized
HMSI dealers and a new reflex reflector will be placed free of cost. The
warranty status of the affected vehicle will also be ignored during this
process. This recall process began in June according to the unlock provisions
decided by the government. As a part of the recall process, the company has
decided to recall all suspected spare parts stock at HMSI dealerships or with spare parts
distributors. HMSI will reach out to customers via call, emails or SMS for
inspection of the vehicle and replacement. Customers can also enter the VIN on
the company’s website.
