According to sources the next Twenty20 World Cup has been shifted out of India and will instead be held in the United Arab Emirates. The competition will begin on October 17 and end on November 14 with the final. In a statement released on june 1, the international cricket Council stated that the bcci will retain the hosting rights to the tournament regardless of where it is held.

The bcci has, of course, previously declared that the remaining games  14th indian Premier League (IPL) will be scheduled in UAE. The indian Board has yet to officially declare the restart timetable for the t20 League.


Due to a second viral epidemic, the indian Premier League was halted at the midway point. Experts in public health anticipated the upcoming outbreak in india in 2021 afterwards. Next week, the bcci may decide to move the t20 world cup to the UAE. Nine venues were selected by the ICC, however, in april an inspection team to inspect was cancelled.
