'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11' contestant Varun Sood, who recently returned to Mumbai from South Africa after completing the shoot of the adventure-based reality show, was spotted in the city on Saturday.
After his pictures on a bike went viral on social media, the actor, currently under quarantine, has issued a clarification.
Varun told ETimes that he had stepped outside to get medicines for his ankle. Varun also added that he didn't go 'gymming' as 'a lot of people' are thinking. He also added that the medical shop is right outside his building.
The contestants, who returned to Mumbai last week, are institutional quarantined. Of them singer Rahul Vaidya and Varun Sood were exempted from institutional quarantine and only home quarantined.
However, they are not supposed to step outside, according to BMC officials.
Varun was exempted from institutional quarantine as he was vaccinated.
Varun's girlfriend, actress Divya Agarwal received him at the airport when he returned from South Africa. Posts by paparazzi accounts showed her, with her mask on, holding a placard with the message "You're my lobster" written on it.
The actress and Varun kissed each other over the mask and hugged tightly.
Varun and Divya have been friends for a long time, however, they confessed their love for each other while doing the reality show 'Ace of Space' together.
