One more arrested from Jharkand in farmer murder case

Nashik, Jun 24 (UNI) The city police have arrested one more suspect who was allegedly involved in the murder of an old farmer in city, from Jharkhand.
On February 17, a 75-year-old man, Ramesh Mandlik, was found dead at Anandwali area in Gangapur Road police station limit of the city. The victim was stabbed to death by the suspects with a sharp weapon.
Following the crime, a case of assault and murder was registered against the perpetrators. Twenty members of a gang were charged under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act.
One of the suspects in the case was in Jharkhand
Accordingly, a police team went to Dhanbad in Jharkhand, arrested the suspect, Nitesh Yugal Singh (37), resident of Tip Top Plaza, Exlow Point at Ambad in Nashik, and brought him to Nashik.
Further investigation is underway, sources added.
