The Enforcement Directorate knocked on the doors of Maharashtra's former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on June 25. ED officials said the raid was part of an ongoing money laundering probe against him. NCP chief, Sharad Pawar has said that the raid was an attempt to harass Anil Deshmukh out of "frustration" as the investigation against him and his family has not revealed anything.
