A devastated mother has recounted the final day of her teenage son's life before he committed suicide, claiming a bullying incident at school drove her little boy to despair.

Ante's mother Lora Sutalo told Daily Mail Australia the first sign anything was wrong with her son came on Monday when Ante returned home from school.

The normally sport-loving boy begged his mother to let him stay home from a sports carnival the following day.

'He said "mum I don't want to go, I'm not really involved in it". He went very, very quiet,' she said.

'Normally you couldn't have kept him away from sport with a broken collarbone.'

Ante loved rugby league and had a poster of Queensland star Kalyn Ponga on his wall.

Ms Sutalo let her son stay home as a result of his protests but things took a tragic turn on Tuesday when Ante was found unconscious at the family home.

'I would like everyone on this page to see this boy, however you are comfortable connecting, his vibe, his soul, his face or just his photo,' blogger Constance Hall wrote of Ante

'I had no idea I just thought everyone loved him - he was a popular kid,' she said.

'Ante's smile lit up every room he ever walked into. He was a natural comedian, he loved to make everyone around him laugh and he had so many friends.

'He was just a loving, sweet boy and hopefully his memories will live on through all of us.'

Ms Sutalo's cousin, Adriana Alessandra, started a GoFundMe page to help pay for 'funeral costs and family expenses while they navigate through this unbearable time'.

Ante has three siblings: Milla, two, Nevada, five, and Tatiana, 15.

Mummy blogger Constance Hall shared Ante's photo on Facebook on Friday with a long caption urging parents, teachers and politicians to confront the 'plague' of bullying.

'This is Ante, he was an awesome big brother, he was caring and had a heart of gold. His smile lit up every room and together with Lora, myself and the support of all of you Queens, his passing is going to change this plague.'

Less than a week ago Ms Hall, 37, revealed she had removed her own daughter, Billie-Violet, from school because she had been bullied.

Hall said she 'gasped' when she found out Ms Sutalo's son was 'in an ambulance on life support' and she 'needed prayers', but presumed it was related to a collision from playing rugby.

Then Ms Hall heard Ante had passed away.

'Thursday night Lora wrote to me and told me that her baby boy was bullied one minute and the next he was gone,' she said.

Ms Hall wrote that bullying 'alienates and it kills'.

'We also need to stop bullying because it isn't fair to raise a child in a culture of tolerated bullying in case something like this happens and they have to live with it for the rest of their lives.

'We need to stop bullying because governments and schools simply cannot, we are our own last hope.

'And because 13 is just too f***ing young to die.'

On June 13 Ms Hall admitted she had removed her daughter from school and posted a screenshot of an SMS exchange she had with her daughter's bully.

'My daughter has recently been hurt, hurt so badly,' Hall wrote.

She said Billie-Violet, was 'told to go away because nobody likes her, has been called ugly, has eaten her lunch in the toilets because her friends pack mentality has created a game out of her pain'.

'I have taken my daughter out of school, taken her to the doctors for a medical certificate until it's resolved, even if that means home schooling or a commute or we move. I don't care.

'I support overcoming this problem every day until its solved.'
