The BSE Sensex is at 52,899 (up 0.2%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 3.6%), ONGC (up 1.5%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.3%). Other gainers include ICICI BANK (up 1.2%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and TATA STEEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,844 (up 0.2%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA STEEL (up 3.6%), TATA MOTORS (up 2.0%) and JSW STEEL (up 2.0%). Other gainers include HINDALCO (up 1.5%) and ONGC (up 1.4%).
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 35,430 to 52,899, registering a gain of 17,469 points (up 49.0%).
TECH MAHINDRA net profit down at Rs 10 billion for the quarter ended March 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 13 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 0.9% to Rs 97.3 billion during the period as against Rs 96.5 billion in January-March 2020.
For the year ended March 2020, TECH MAHINDRA reported 10.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 39.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 43.5 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 6.1% to Rs 369 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of TECH MAHINDRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.8x.
