After accusing alcohol delivery platform of duping her, Shabana Azmi shares an update: 'It turns out that the people who cheated me are fraudsters'

Senior Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi recently shared that she was cheated by scammers who pretended to be from an alcohol delivery platform. The 70-year-old actor took to Twitter and claimed that she was conned after she placed an order at the platform but didn't receive it. In a tweet, she wrote, 'BEWARE I have been cheated by them. #Living Liquidz I paid upfront and when the ordered item didnt turn up they stopped picking up my calls', sharing details of her transaction with the delivery platform. Sometime after she tweeted her first post, she shared an update and revealed that she had managed to track down the people who ran the business only to find out that it wasn't them who cheated her. Urging Mumbai Police and the Cyber Crime cell to take action against such fraudsters, Shabana tweeted, 'Finally traced the owners of @living_liquidz & it turns out that the people who cheated me are fraudsters who have nothing to do with Living Liquidz! I urge @mumbaipolice and @cybercrime to take action to stop these crooks from using names of legitimate businesses & scamming us.' Several fans dropped concerned comments. One advised, 'next time order it through living liquidz app . These guys are very professional and come with a cc machine while delivering.' Another wrote, 'Thanks For tweeting .Hopefully Mumbai Police will help.' Another claimed, 'Living liquid is it's self a fraudsters company. Check their so many unhappy peoples with so many complaints. My issues is still to be resolved. These people are hire by living liquid only.' In the past, many Bollywood celebs including Nargis Fakhri, Akshaye Khanna, Karan Singh Grover have been duped by online scammers. Meanwhile, on the work front, Shabana Azmi will next be seen in Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta-starrer same sex love story 'Sheer Qorma'.
