Talking Bodybuilding Noob Question (current progress photos included)

Hello, everyone! I'm a new poster looking to get into bodybuilding and connect with experienced folks who have "been there and done that" and are willing to share their experiences. These photos illustrate my fitness journey so far. I am familiar with nutrition, calorie counting, macro tracking, food journals, and I have a working knowledge of weight training. Now, I want to build as much muscle as I can.

My muscle-building knowledge and experience is limited. How should I begin muscle building? (I cannot emphasize enough how much I despise the idea of getting fat again) Gaining mass has never been a problem for me (see before photos) but gaining muscle has been challenging. My top priority is increasing my chest and shoulder width. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

    Stats: 27yo, 6'2", 176lb, body fat %: no clue, weight lost: 84lb.
