While officers responded to a shooting in Avondale that left a woman with a gunshot wound Thursday night, more shots were fired nearby, police said.

At around 7 p.m., police responded to 860 Glenwood Avenue for a reported shooting.

A 19-year-old woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

She was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

While police were still at the scene of the Glenwood shooting, shots were fired nearby at Mann Place around 7:30 p.m.

SWAT was called to a residence on Mann Place later that evening, but police found no one inside.

The investigation into the shootings is ongoing at this time.

The shootings were a block away from where 16-year-old Galevon Beauchamp was shot Monday evening. Beauchamp died from his injuries Thursday morning.
