For the past couple of years, the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam markets have got a huge expansion and we need to thank the pandemic behind this. Due to the OTT platforms, lots of regional content are getting more recognition across boundaries. Lots of South Indian flavored films are getting a release in Hindi and even on YouTube, we can see the dubbed versions in Hindi are crossing more than 100 Million views easily.

Even recently, Nani's 'Jersey' is remade in hindi, and before that Vijay Deverakonda's 'Arjun Reddy' showed its prowess as 'Kabir Singh' in the bollywood market. Regarding this new trend, nagarjuna Akkineni said, "I am really happy that Regional movies are poking nose inside hindi film markets and the World which we thought bigger is actually getting smaller. 


Lots of hindi films are coming to the South for our technicians and it is a very good sign as our South Side has more potential and talents. These days every film has to be a Pan-India release in order to expand the market reach. Even now I work for 'Brahmastra' and when I come to shoot in Northern states, they treat me just like how they treat me in our Southern states. It's good that we have poked our nose in the hindi market industry."
