Tata Motors receives order for 115 ambulances from Gujarat

Tata Motors recently supplied 25 Winger Ambulances to the Health Department of Gujarat as a part of the larger order of 115 ambulances. Members of the Gujarat State Cabinet were a part of the official vehicle inducting ceremony. The ambulances supplied by Tata Motors are equipped with a life support system and will be used for the treatment of patients in the city. These vehicles are designed as per AIS 125 Part 1 once Tata Motors won the bid for the order under the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The remaining ambulances will be supplied phase-wise.

According to Vinay Pathak, Vice President, Product Line, SCV, Tata Motors, the winger ambulances are designed as per the needs of the patients. The Winger ambulances have saved so many lives due to their efficient design and performance. The brand differs from the rest of the companies as it thoroughly understands the needs of the customers and it has the ability to design the vehicles as per the market requirements. He added that the brand is committed to bringing the best healthcare solutions to the hospitals and healthcare organizations so that it can support the government during this pandemic period.

These winger ambulances cater to all types of patient transportation that includes both basic and advanced life support range.
