Kesha’s nearly as famous for her sparkling, color-soaked style as for her songs — so you’d better believe she knows how to accessorize.
This week, the “Tik Tok” hitmaker unveiled her new collection for Pretty Connected, a woman-run business whose multi-use chain accessories are loved by the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Bethenny Frankel and Whitney Cummings.
During a recent Zoom preview, Kesha told editors that her partnership with the brand came about “because I was wearing their chains all the time. I’d wear it as a necklace, everywhere, even to the beach. On my mask, my sunglasses, my cell phone, water bottle … I lose everything, so it comes in handy!”
Kesha’s capsule is comprised of two different chain styles priced at $38 — one braided, the other made up of geometric links. Both come adorned with a yin and yang charm with special significance to the singer.
“During [the pandemic] I had a lot of anxiety come and go. I kind of spoke to the universe or prayed, or whatever you want to call it, and asked for just a symbol of assurance that everything’s going to be all right, and all of a sudden I started seeing yin-yangs everywhere,” she recalled.
“The yin-yang is a reminder of the balance I always strive for and felt like such a good symbol for what we’ve all been through over the last 14 months — trying to find the good in the bad and seeing light in dark times, getting into alignment and harmony as we all emerge and move forward, better.”

And with a new tour set to kick off in August, Kesha has plenty to look forward to.
“I love being around other people, I love entertaining people, and I thrive when I’m with people I love. I just think this tour is going to be everybody going insane to a level that I’ve never seen before,” she teased.
“It’s not during Pride month, but I just want them to be Pride shows. Pride parades filled with rainbow and glitter and light and love and connection and happiness and chaos and fun and energy. And I just want people to come let out all of the energy that we’ve been having to hold inside of our bodies for the past year and a half.”
