Pregnant mom and 1-year-old girl among the 159 still missing in Florida condo collapse

The names of more missing people have emerged in the deadly condo collapse in Florida, including a pregnant mother and her 1-year-old child along with an Argentinian plastic surgeon and his family, according to reports Friday.

Bhavna Patel, a 38-year-old from the UK, her 42-year-old husband, Vishal Patel, and their 1-year-old daughter, Aishani, were still unaccounted for as the search at the Champlain Towers South Condo in Surfside continued Friday, according to Sky News.

“They were angels,” friend Vishal Abash said of the family, who lived unit 311. “Now maybe God has come to reclaim his angels.”

Others missing include Andrés Galfrascoli, a 45-year-old plastic surgeon from Argentina, his 55-year-old partner, Fabián Nuñez, and their 6-year-old adopted daughter, Sofía, who were visiting a friend in condo 803, according to WUSF Public Media.

Newlyweds Nicole and Roslan Manashirov, who tied the knot just weeks ago, also have not been found, according to wsvn.com.

David Epstein and his wife, Bonnie, were on the ninth floor when the building collapsed, and their New York City-based son, Jonathan, said he hasn’t been able to contact them, according to news4jax.com.

Photographer Garciella Cattarossi, her daughter Estella, and her elderly parents were also still missing among the rubble, her friend Mariela Porras told CNN Friday.

Francis Fernandez, a mother of 3, who was staying at a friend’s house in the condo is also missing. And Alfredo Leone and his 5-year-old son, Lorenzo, are still unaccounted for, too.

Gladys and Tony Lozano — who lived on the 9th floor and were excited to celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary next month — had also not been heard from.

And Frances Plasencia, a parishioner of Coral Gables’ Church of the Little Flower was also missing, according to wsvn.com.

Elaine Sabino, who lived on the 12th floor, Angela Velazquez, and Dick Augustine along with Angela Velazquez, Julio Velazquez and their daughter, Theresa also haven’t been found, the outlet reported.

Elena Chaves, 87, and her 62-year-old daughter, Elena Chaves Blasser along with Estelle Hedaya, who lived on the sixth floor, are also missing. Friends are also searching for Nicole Langsfeld and Luis Sadovnic.

Linda March, 58, who is reportedly a New York City lawyer, along with 80-year-old Magaly Delgado and Malka bas Sarah Rochel Rosenberg of Lakewood, Fla. , and Rosi Maza-Saez were still unaccounted for Friday.

Ilan Naibryf, a 21-year-old University of Chicago student studying physics and molecular engineering, and his girlfriend, Deborah Berezdivin, were also unaccounted for, according to CBS Chicago.

And relatives of South American politicians were among the missing.

Juan Mora Jr. Claudio Bonnefoy, the uncle of former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, was missing along with the president of Paraguay’s sister-in-law, Sophia López Moreira, and her husband, Luis Pettengill, relatives said,

They are among dozens of Latin American citizens — from countries including Paraguay, Colombia and Venezuela — who are still missing, officials said.
