The Proteas T20 squad has arrived safely in the Caribbean ahead of the five-match T20 series against the West Indies in St George's.
After completing a 2-0 Test series victory, the Proteas' 20-man T20 squad completed their mandatory quarantine in St. Lucia and have moved safely to Grenada.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) reported that the entire travelling party has returned negative results upon arrival.
Proteas limited-overs skipper Temba Bavuma is expected to lead the team after missing out of the two Tests due to injury.
All-rounder Wiaan Mulder has been retained for the T20 team as replacement for Dwaine Pretorius, who tested positive for Covid-19 in the team's pre-departure testing in South Africa.
CSA revealed that Pretorius is "not symptomatic and is doing well" and following the stipulated Covid-19 protocols.
"The CSA medical team is keeping in close communication with him to ensure his overall wellbeing," a statement from the organisation said.
Proteas fast bowler Beuran Hendricks, who did not feature in the Test match series, has also been absorbed into the T20 squad as cover ahead of the tour.
Meanwhile, assistant coach Enoch Nkwe has returned to the squad and will resume his role after taking family responsibility leave.
Titans coach Mandla Mashimbyi, who assisted Mark Boucher, has returned to South Africa along with the rest of the Test squad.
The first T20 is scheduled to get under way on Saturday at 20:00 SA time.
