Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked Again; Mangalore Becomes Newest City To Cross ₹ 100/Litre Mark

In Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs. 97.76 per litre, while diesel stands at Rs. 88.30 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is being retailed at Rs. 103.89 per litre, and diesel at Rs. 95.79 per litre. Petrol price in Mangalore has reached Rs. 100.22 per litre, and diesel is Rs. 92.85 per litre.

Fuel prices in India again saw an upward revision today, on June 24, 2021. While petrol has become dearer by up to 27 paise per litre, diesel has seen a marginal hike of up to 8 paise per litre. In the national capital Delhi, petrol today is priced at ₹ 97.76 per litre after seeing a price hike of 26 paise, while the price of diesel went up by 6 paise, at ₹ 88.30 per litre. At the same time in Mumbai, petrol is being retailed at ₹ 103.89 per litre after a hike of 26 paise, while diesel rates stand at ₹ 95.79 per litre, after a hike of 6 paise.

Petrol price in Mangalore has crossed the ₹ 100 mark, and currently stands at ₹ 100.22 per litre. Diesel is ₹ 92.85 per litre. Other regions where petrol prices have already crossed the ₹ 100 per litre mark include Nagpur, Thane, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Jaisalmer, Banswara, Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nashik, Kakinada, Shivamogga, Leh and Chikmagalur. Patna is likely to become the next city to cross the ₹ 100 per litre mark with currents rates standing at ₹ 99.80 per litre for petrol and ₹ 93.63 per litre for diesel.

As for other metro cities, in Chennai petrol prices have reached ₹ 98.88 per litre after a 23 paise hike, while diesel rates went up by 6 paise, at ₹ 92.89 per litre. At the same time, in Kolkata, petrol prices stand at ₹ 97.63 per litre with a 25 paise hike, while diesel is priced at ₹ 91.15 per litre after a 7 paise hike. In Bengaluru, petrol prices went up by 27 paise to 101.03 per litre, while diesel touched ₹ 93.61 per litre after a 7 paise hike. Petrol and diesel rates in Hyderabad touched ₹ 101.33 per litre with a 27 paise hike while diesel rates increased by 8 paise, at ₹ 96.17 per litre.

Petrol is currently the most expensive in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar, priced at ₹ 108.94 per litre
