Industry partners start living lab in Iowa, for reseach into rural broadband connectivity, precision agriculture

The Platforms for Advanced Wireless Research (PAWR) programme, funded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) and a consortium of 35 mobile companies and associations, has announced Iowa State University and its partners as the fourth testbed for large-scale research platforms located throughout the US. Other testbeds include Powder-Renew in Salt Lake City (Utah), Cosmos in the West Harlem neighbourhood of New York City and AERPAW in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
