Mumbai, Jun 24 (UNI) Maharashtra on Thursday reported 9,844 fresh Covid-19 patients and 197 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 60,07,431 and the toll to 1,19,859, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 9,371 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 57,62,631.
The state's recovery rate was steady at 95.93 per cent and the fatality rate slightly edged up to 2 per cent.
There are now 1,21,767 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.
