Maxxis India has the aim to expand its
dealer network to 5-7% by the end of the year 2021. The company has already
added 800 dealerships during the pandemic. Maxxis the largest two-wheeler tyre
manufacturer and the ninth largest tyre company in the world. It has a presence
in 6 continents and 5 R&D Centres worldwide.
According to Chu
Tsang Chih, Director, Maxxis India, the company’s vision is to achieve
15% of the country’s two-wheeler tyre market by 2023. For this vision, it is
important to expand the dealership network. The aim of the company is to expand
its network to 5% by the end of 2021, he added. He also said that the company
wants to multiply its current outreach and expects that the same momentum will
be maintained in the future as well.
The company has
added around 800 dealers even during the pandemic with the intent to enhance
customer accessibility in rural India. Maxxis has reached the 3000 mark in
India. A good number of dealers are added from states like Haryana, Delhi,
Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Maharashtra. It is believed that
the expansion of the dealer network during the pandemic time is a positive sign
for the growth of the company in the automobile market. The company wants to
add at least one dealership in the village with a population of more than
30,000. The aim is to win the trust of the people and generate more business.
