    Apollo Hospital shares drop 1.5% as Sensex rises

    Synopsis

    The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3432.9 and a 52-week low of Rs 1311.7.

    As long as Nifty does not close above 11,720, it can slip towards 11,600.
    Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. traded 1.5 per cent lower in Thursday's session at 02:06PM (IST). The stock opened at Rs 3247.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3277.95 and Rs 3144.7, respectively, during the session so far.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3432.9 and a 52-week low of 1311.7. About 40,320 shares changed hands on the counter so far.

    Benchmark Nifty50 was up 117.65 points at 15804.60, while the BSE Sensex traded 462.97 points higher at 52769.05 at the time of writing of this report.

    In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded the day in the green, while 21 were in the red.


    Key Financials
    For the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2765.34 crore, down 0.24 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 2772.04 crore and down 5.34 per cent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported net profit of Rs 130.45 crore for the latest quarter.

    Promoter Holdings
    Promoters held 29.82 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs held 54.51 per cent and MFs 5.91 per cent.

    Technicals
    On the technical charts, the 200-Day Moving Average (DMA) of the stock stood at Rs 2652.47 on June 24, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 3231.98. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward. On the other hand, if the stock trades well below 50-DMA and 200-DMA both, it is considered as bearish trend and if trades between these averages, then it suggests the stock can go either way.
