'Bigg Boss 7' contestant Armaan Kohli, who made his Bollywood debut as a child artist in "Badle Ki Aag" has now headlined for his desperate attempts on social media to enter the 15th season of the reality show.
According to reports, 'Bigg Boss 15' is set to premiere soon, and while the list of contestants is still under wraps, actor Armaan Kohli has urged his fans to tag the show’s host Salman Khan on Twitter, and request to include for a few days in the upcoming instalment.
Armaan wrote, "My sher and shernies, if u guys really want to c me go inside the BB house for a few days, plz tweet with me and Salman bhai together and ask him to do that, and I will with each tweet retweet and request him for all u guys love and harmony."
While Kohli has been MIA from the acting scene, he has invited a barrage of controversies over the years.
In 2013, he had been accused of assault by "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" actress Munmun Dutta (Babita) in Mauritius. The actress claimed that Armaan had turned physical with her and even hit her. Munmun and Armaan started seeing each other in 2008 and had a very short-lived relationship.
During his ‘Bigg Boss’ stint, Arman was arrested for physical abuse after fellow contestant and British singer-actress Sofia Hayat filed a complaint against him. However, he was later released on bail.
Actress Kajol's sister Tanishaa Mukherjee who was also a co-contestant on ‘Bigg Boss 7’ fell in love with Armaan. The couple didn't shy away from discussing sex or getting intimate while in the house. In the end, the relationship dissolved with the couple claiming that they were very different from each other.
In 2018, Kohli was accused by his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa of assaulting her.
The duo had an argument over some monetary issue at their residence on Sunday evening and during the altercation, he allegedly pushed the woman and she fell from the stairs. The accused then pulled her hair and banged her head on the floor, the police officer said citing the complaint.
Following the assault Armaan was booked under relevant sections of the IPC.
Days later the Bombay High Court quashed the FIR after he submitted an affidavit from jail expressing "remorse and regret" for assaulting Randhawa.
Kohli has appeared in several films like "Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani" and made his last big screen appearance in "LOC: Kargil" in 2003.
