Further to the Government of India directive for linking PAN with Aadhaar, Members are hereby informed that as per Income Tax Authorities, it is mandatory for PAN holders to link their PAN with Aadhaar number before June 30, 2021. PAN which are not linked to Aadhaar would become invalid and declared “inoperative".

Members are hereby requested to ensure that clients / investors link their PAN with Aadhaar for seamless processing of Mutual Fund transactions and to ensure appropriate TDS deductions in their investment accounts at AMC/RTA end.

Members may please note that Mutual Fund transactions of investors may be liable for rejection in case their PAN is not linked with Aadhar.
