Jalna, Jun 23 (UNI) In the past 24 hours,14 new COVID cases were detected while 2 fatality were reported due to the virus, stated Jalna Civil Surgeon on Wednesday.
With the new addition, the total caseload has now surged to 61,063 while the death toll goes up to 1141.
Meanwhile, 42 people were discharged in the same period, taking count of the recovered cases to 59,673 which translates into a recovery rate of 97.72per cent.
The fatality rate stands at 1.87 per cent. Presently, Jalna has 249 active cases, he added.
