The Giants on Thursday waived running back Ryquell Armstead, a player they claimed off waivers from the Jaguars in May.
Armstead, a 2019 fifth round pick out of Temple, had 108 rushing yards for the Jaguars as a rookie.
But he missed the entire 2020 season battling through COVID-19 issues that led to his hospitalization.
