Share price of IGL falls as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. slipped 0.92 per cent to Rs 513.95 in Thursday's trade as of 01:25PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 521.5 and low of Rs 512.45 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 23.31 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:25PM shares and turnover at Rs 2.61 crore around that time.

The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 594.85 and Rs 364.3, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.0.

Promoters held 45.0 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while foreign investors held 23.8 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 15.93 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1472.07 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, up 0.07 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1471.05 crore and up 13.5 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1701.73 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 381.83 crore, up 28.4 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
