Romelu Lukaku’s Twitter Q&A provided a fascinating into some of his former teammates and opponents.
The Belgium striker answered dozens of questions from fans covering a wide range of topics from his love of basketball, to his favourite travel destinations and whether he’d want to join Man City.
The Inter Milan striker is well versed in the Premier League having spent time at Chelsea, West Brom, Everton and Manchester United.
It was at Goodison Park where his career really took off having first joined on loan from Chelsea before completing a £28million permanent switch in 2014.
In the following three seasons, he netted 53 Premier League goals and terrorised defences.
He was teammates with John Stones at Everton with the pair going their separate ways to the Manchester clubs.
Stones starred for Man City last season, and Lukaku knew he’d make it to the very top.
When asked about former teammate John Stones’ rise, Lukaku said: “Knew it from day one! Stonesy is a baller.”
Lukaku is currently lighting up Euro 2020 with three goals in three group games after a brilliant title-winning season with Inter.
He’s starring alongside international teammate Kevin De Bruyne and the pair look great together on the pitch.
When one fan if we’d see him and De Bruyne at a club, he replied: “I would gladly take him to Anderlecht.”
Anderlecht are currently managed by former Man City star Vincent Kompany and Lukaku had something to say about him too.
When asked who the hardest defender he played against was, he said: “Kompany he knows me well.”
