No. 1 projected draft pick Cade Cunningham had a night out with friends, family, agents and even a TV crew to watch Tuesday’s NBA Draft Lottery.
The star Oklahoma State guard was spotted in a private dining room at ritzy Miami steakhouse Prime 112 to watch the lottery, in which the Detroit Pistons got the top pick, followed by the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Toronto Raptors.
Cunningham is now expected to head to Detroit with their first pick.
“Cade and his group were in a very happy mood and seemed extremely excited that Detroit had the number one pick,” says our spy.

The source added that Cunningham was accompanied by a film crew. “The cameras were following him,” says the source. “No clue if it’s a behind-the-scenes doc or for TV.”
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted this week: “Sources: The plan for presumptive No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham will be to visit only one team prior to the NBA Draft on July 29: The Detroit Pistons.”
Pistons general manager Troy Weaver told the press, “We’re excited to be in this position. But it means that we’ve got a lot of work to do, and we’re going to be diligent about it. But it always helps to be able to add the No. 1 pick.”
The Miami restaurant is known as a hotspot for top athletes: Shaq, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant have all eaten at the posh steakhouse.
Former Heat star Dwyane Wade also watched Lebron James’ infamous “Big Decision” special in 2010 in the same room where Cunningham and company dined.
