Do you know which show gave her a break in her career? The beautiful singer got her break with her very first singing show on Doordarshan in 1995. She sang a song in the show titled Padave Koyila and rose to fame. Later she got the opportunity to sing the "Ee Velalo Neevu" song in the Gulabi movie which turned her into a star singer. Ever since there is no looking back for her as a singer in the industry.

She is still singing many songs in movies. Other than being a singer she is also doing shows as a host and is also giving her voice over. She succeeded as a host as well as dubbing artist. She is currently hosting popular singing show Paadutha Theyaga. She stood as an inspiration for many upcoming singers.
