Simbhu has recently completed shooting for a new Time Loop concept movie 'Maanaadu' and the shooting was wrapped up after lots of tough situations. The post-production works have already started for the movie and Kalyani Priyadarshan has played the lady love of STR in this movie. Recently, she confessed that she herself finished all the dubbing formalities for the movie and the outcome of the movie has been brilliant.

Director venkat prabhu has now opened regarding Maanaadu to a tamil weekly and he said, "We used cars while filming chasing scenes regarding STR in this movie. Initially, we wanted to bring trisha as STR's lady love in 'Maanaadu', but that never happened as trisha was upset and she rejected when we offered. Later, we went to Raashi Khanna and she had her hands full and was unable to allot dates for us.
