I am a 23-year-old Software Engineer, looking to start my investment journey. My first goal is to be able to pay the down payment of around Rs 10 lakhs for a new house which I plan to buy after 5 years. What should be my strategy to invest if I can invest around Rs 10,000-15000 per month?

It is simple and straightforward. The monthly amount should be invested in an SIP for 5 years. Ideally, the horizon for equity is more than 5 years, hence you may follow a ratio of say 70:30 between equity and debt.
