Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a visit to Kochi in Kerala and Karwar in Karnataka today. The Defense Minister has left for a two-day visit to Karwar and Kochi. The Defense Minister will arrive at the Naval Air Station INS Garuda in Kochi by a special aircraft along with Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh at 7.30 pm. Along with this, the Defense Minister will visit the indigenous aircraft carrier at the Cochin Port Trust wharf on Friday at 9.45 am and review the progress of the project.

During this, Rajnath Singh will visit various training units of Southern Naval Command and review naval projects. After his two-day visit, the Union Minister will leave for Delhi at 3 pm on Friday.
