Khetia: Khetia crossed a milestone on Thursday to become the first town to achieve 100% vaccination. This achievement of the town becomes even more important as owing to its proximity to Maharashtra the area was among the worst affected during the second wave of Corona.

Locals here move continuously from one state to another. In such a situation, the best way to protect the residents of this area from coronavirus was to achieve 100% vaccination.

Locals, office bearers of various organisations, administrative staff, public representatives pitched in to achieve this feat. The locals celebrated the occasion by bursting crackers.

District's corona in-charge minister Prem Singh Patel, Rajya Sabha member Dr Sumersingh Solanki, Lok Sabha MP Gajendra Singh Patel, collector Shivraj Singh Verma credited the locals, social organisations, political workers, journalists, administrative officers for the achievement.
