BPD investigating second fatal single-vehicle crash this week

The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in Beaumont.

The crash occurred just after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 4700 block of Avenue A.

The crash involved a one vehicle and one occupant, Carol Riley with Beaumont Police Department said.

“Avenue A from W Virginia to Auburn Drive will be closed while (detectives) are investigating,” she said.

No further information was immediately available.
