    Bajaj Holdings shares rise 3.61% as Sensex climbs

    Synopsis

    A total of 1,803 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:00AM (IST)

    It is the second largest discount broker at present after Zerodha, which is the largest broker among full service and discount category.
    Shares of the & Investment Ltd. traded at Rs 3671.6 on BSE at 10:00AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 3.61 per cent from previous close.

    The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 2219.0 and a high of Rs 3784.8.

    Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

    The stock of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 40677.78 crore.

    The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 11.15, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.72. Return on equity (ROE) was at 10.77 per cent, according to exchange data.

    In the BSE500 pack, 285 stocks traded in the green, while 215 stocks were in the red.

    Promoters held 49.95 per cent in the Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 15.85 per cent and 2.21 per cent, respectively.
