Telecom Act amendment requires Dutch telecom providers to inform consumers about the cheapest rates

Telecom providers must actively inform consumers about the most advantageous rates for their personal situation. That is one of the components of an extensive amendment to the Telecommunications Act that State Secretary Mona Keijzer sent to Parliament. The law also has monitoring clauses if internet communication services such as Skype and WhatsApp fail or are interrupted.
