Three arrested for house break-ins in Thane

Thane, Jun 22 (UNI) The MBVV (Mira-Bhayander Vasai Virar) Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested three people in connection with the theft at a house in Kashimira locality of the city.
After the accused persons broke open the lock of the house door and looted the valuables collectively worth around Rs 74,000, an offence under sections 454, 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code was registered against them with the Kashimira Police station on June 16, police said.
Acting on intelligence inputs, police arrested three accused on Monday and recovered the booty from them.
Police have identified arrested accused as Manoj alias Manya Surendra Sharma (28), Mustaque Nizamuddin Idrisi (34) and Sahil Zakir Hussain (20).
Manoj has more than 131 crimes registered against him at different police stations.
Further probe into the crime is underway, sources added.
