Du and Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority form blockchain-based partnership for NOC use-case

UAE-based operator Du has announced a partnership with Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) to automate licensing processes for activities that require a no-objection certificate (NOC) from other government agencies, in a single platform enabled by blockchain. The two parties will take advantage of the UAE's first locally hosted blockchain service, the Blockchain Edge. The new service provides benefits to DAFZA companies, including speeding up the issuance of new licences or adding commercial activities restricted by NOC from other government agencies.
