Tom Gleeson has been refused entry into Western Australia after the state immediately shut their border to NSW, following a spike in infections in Sydney.
Tom, 47, shared a post on Wednesday with the screenshot of the text message that refused him entry into WA - after he had already arrived in Perth.
He also posted an image of his 'COVID-19 digital certificate,' which acknowledges that he's been vaccinated for the disease.

In the caption for the post, the comedian wrote: 'Just arrived in Perth to be told NSW residents aren’t allowed in.'
'I've visited no exposure sites, no hotspots and here’s the fun part … I’M FULLY VACCINATED! LOL!' he continued, bemused.
He then added in brackets, 'Sorry for cancelled gigs Perth. I did my best.'

Tom's followers appeared dismayed by the news in the comments.
One fan said, 'What! But you're from Victoria?' while another simply wrote, 'Crazy!!'
One follower poked fun at the situation, refencing Tom's show, Hard Chat, and catchphrase by commenting, 'We're playing HARD.'

According to Tom's vaccination certificate, he received the Pfizer jab on the 25th of May and his second dose on the 17th of June.
The certificate also states it's 'valid' from the date of his second shot.
However, it has not been made clear by the government whether or not the certificate can be used as a 'vaccine passport,' so travellers can move freely without being impeded by restrictions.
Western Australia, along with Tasmania and South Australia, shut their border to NSW this afternoon after the state recorded 16 new coronavirus cases.
