Imphal, June 22 2021: BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal observed the 7th International Yoga Day at the residence of Manipur Legislative deputy speaker and Mayang Imphal AC MLA Kongkham Robindro at Mayang Imphal Thana Awang Leikai on Monday.

The observance, which was held on the theme of "Yoga for Wellbeing", was attended by renowned boxer Laishram Sarita, BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal president Irom Rabi, BJP Minority Morcha Imphal West District president Md Islamuddin, Mayang Imphal Municipal councillors and other office bearers of the Mandal.

Speaking at the event, deputy speaker K Robindro informed that practicing yoga helps in maintaining a healthy mind and body, thereby preventing a person from contracting diseases.

This exercise does not require any expensive form of equipment or money but can be practiced in any part of the house.

Thus, he urged the people to practice yoga to live a healthy life.
