Patna`s parks and zoos will once again reopen from Wednesday after one and a half months due to corona infection. However, their timing has been fixed. For morning walkers, the parks will be open from 6 am to 12 noon i.e. full six hours. The Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, commonly known as Patna Zoo, will also be opened for the same period.
Principal Secretary (Environment, Forest and Climate Change) Deepak Kumar Singh said that visitors to the park and zoo will have to follow the COVID rules. Forest guards will be deployed at the entrance and inside the parks to ensure adherence to the COVID guidelines from the visitors.
Singh said, “People will have to wear masks and undergo thermal screening before entering the park. A predetermined number of people will be allowed as per the capacity of each park. However, people coming here should not worry. Because the virus does not spread much in open areas, however, they should follow all safety protocols.
