The troubled career of Australian tennis bad boy Bernard Tomic took another turn when he told an interviewer he nearly 'sh** myself' as he attempted to qualify for this year's Wimbledon tournament.
Tomic had just beaten Slovenian Blaz Kavcic in the first round of Wimbledon qualifiers at Roehampton when he strolled over to a post-match interview with John Inverdale while shirtless.
After quickly pulling on a singlet, Tomic expressed his relief having lost the first set of the match.
In the past, Tomic has collapsed in such circumstances but instead, he dug in to win the second set 6-4 before closing out a deciding set 6-3.
'It was tough, I was nervous,' he said. 'I kind of s**t myself.'

Tomic, now ranked No. 224 in the world in singles, needs to win three qualifying rounds before earning a spot in the main draw at Wimbledon.
'Absolutely everything feels irritating at that moment: the wind, the ball kids, everything,' he said, explaining the pressure to win the match.
'I haven't played grass in two years so playing a first match and winning is huge.
'These moments - I've played many, many matches on grass so I'm comfortable - they're tough to get out of so it was important to hold there.
'The last couple of Wimbledons, I didn't really go too well, you know,' he laughed.
A smiling, upbeat Tomic was in stark contrast to the angry, troubled star who was seen breaking a laptop owned by former girlfriend Vanessa Sierra during a holiday in Croatia.

In a series of troubling social media posts, Vanessa Sierra posted footage of her former boyfriend Bernard Tomic breaking a laptop over his knee

The couple exchanged tit-for-tat social media posts, with Tomic saying he would recount his millions

Tomic eventually apologised to Sierra in an Instagram story in which he described her as 'wife'
In a series of troubling social media posts, Sierra had posted footage of Tomic breaking the laptop over his knee.
'Ah, there we go,' he's heard saying. Sierra replies: 'Break it, break it all you want.'
She later posted: 'Don't mess with a tennis player's ego. To replace the 16k worth of damages from his little tantrum, I'm leaking a private tape to my OnlyFans. Not sorry.'
There followed tit-for-tat posts. In one Tomic said he was unaffected by Sierra's leaking of the footage.
'Hold up let me recount my millions,' he wrote.
Afterwards he issued an apology via an Instagram story.
'Shouldn't have broken her stuff I don't know what came over me,' he wrote.
'My ego too big but I'm going to drop it for you. So sorry wife. Please let's make things right. Love you.'
Tomic next faces 24-year-old Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles in round two in his quest to make this year's Wimbledon tournament, which begins on June 28.
He was also forced to qualify for this year's Australian Open, after which he was bundled out in the second round of the tournament.
