K-pop group Seventeen recently made a comeback. The boys S. Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino, set the internet on fire after the release of their EP Your Choice. CARATs, as their fans are so fondly called, were eagerly waiting for the comeback of Seventeen and they have been going crazy over the new EP. But, looks like the promotions of Seventeen have hit a roadblock. However, now Pledis Entertainment has released a statement saying that the K-pop group will have to halt their promotions as two of their staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.
The whole group will now be self-quarantining till June 29. The statement said that one of the HYBE member and one external staff member tested positive for Covid on June 18 and 19. It was also stated that the members from the group as well as the staff went through a pre-emptive test on June 15 as well, apart from those affected. It further stated that the agency will continue to follow the directions and guidelines from the disease prevention authorities.
