BEIJING -- WeRide, a China-based autonomous-driving startup, said on Wednesday that it would deepen development with Nissan on autonomous technology for the China market as it raised further funding on top of $310 million it received in January.

The latest move gave the company a $3.3 billion valuation.

WeRide is currently testing its autonomous taxis in China and the U.S., the company said in a statement.
