Australian customers pay more for mobile plans amid Telstra, Optus, Vodafone price hikes

Australian consumers will pay more for their mobile phone plans after recent price increases by all three big operators, according to a report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). The study also found that, since July 2020, Telstra, Optus and Vodafone have increased the price of several postpaid plans, and of a range of prepaid plans by reducing their expiry periods, forcing customers to recharge more often.
